Kadima Christian Ministries was founded in November 2019 to support and propagate Christian education. Kadima is a Hebrew word that means ‘forward.’ We chose that name because we feel it encompasses the direction we want to move with those we serve. God calls us all forward, upward, onward. We want to instill that sense of direction and purpose into our students. Our goal is to create safe, positive, Jesus focused environments where children can get an amazing education while learning how to use their talents and abilities.
We are motivated by the gospel to lovingly minister to those God has put in our path. We are an interdenominational ministry that adheres to, and teaches, core Christian beliefs. We seek to convert hearts to the Kingdom of God and not to a specific denomination.
We believe all children need of spiritual guidance, regardless of race, color, or social class. Whatever neighborhood they live in, all our children endure daily assaults against their identity in Christ. All of them are exposed to ideas and situations that leave wounds. We strive to strengthen and guide our students so that they can stand up under these assaults and move forward in faith.
Our approach is the same one that Jesus took when he came to earth: relationships. Jesus poured into a select few for several years. He made a deep, long term commitment to a walk with them and teach them. By doing so he empowered them to go forward and change the world. That is our method as well. We believe God has given everyone ability and talent that is meant to positively impact the world and advance the Kingdom of God. We want our students to discover their abilities and hone them for that purpose.
In summation, our vision is to love God and people by extending opportunities for Christ centered education to people and communities affected by economic, emotional, spiritual, and relational poverty. In doing so we hope to move forward together to impact this world for Christ, both in and through our students.
